Pacific Science Center
Once a month, homeschool families get discounted admission. Exhibits, plus daytime laser and planetarium shows (free timed-entry tickets, first come), are included. The campus stays open to the public and school groups too. No reservation needed; tell staff at the Admissions Building that you are a homeschool group.

Seattle Aquarium
Homeschool Days give K–12 families exclusive classroom programming plus admission to all three Aquarium buildings. Adults stay with their children. Self-guided field-trip bookings run Monday–Friday (9:30 a.m.–2 p.m. entry), and co-ops of 10 or more students in the same grade band can book a class.

Woodland Park Zoo
The zoo's homeschool page lists Small Group Days for homeschool families on designated days, with a registration window that rolls forward about three months. The 2025–26 rate was $13 per person including chaperones, children 2 and under free, with the booking fee waived. The field-trips page lists groups of 20 or more at $11.50 per person for 2026–27.

Educator discount
Area: Michaels stores in the Seattle area, and online
Michaels' own policy lists "teachers who work in ... home schools" under who qualifies for its 15% teacher discount. Many items are excluded (for example clearance, books, classes and some brands), so check the list on the policy page.

- Cost: Free to join (Michaels Rewards)
- When: Year-round
- Proof needed: Verify as a teacher in Michaels Rewards (checked by a third-party service) with a document showing your name, your school or organization, and your status. Michaels says a valid educator ID lets you make 3 purchases while verification finishes.
Educator discount
Area: Apple Store online and Apple Stores in the Seattle area
Apple's Education Sales Policy says any K-12 employee is eligible for education pricing, "including homeschool teachers."
- Ages: For the parent-teacher
- Cost: Education prices (vary by product)
- When: Year-round
- Proof needed: Apple may ask for extra qualifying information before it accepts an order, and it audits education purchases, so keep documents that show you homeschool. Yearly limits apply (for example one MacBook and two iPads per year).
